Oldham boss Paul Dickov hailed his side`s character after they came from behind to thump Brentford 3-1. The Latics were behind after just four minutes but rallied to claim the points after a virtuoso display from Chris Taylor. Dickov said: "I didn't realise but I am the first Oldham manager ever to win in the league at Brentford so that's something a bit extra for us. "I thought we played really well particularly in the second half - make no mistake this is a hard place to come and get a win so for us to take all the points and score three goals after going behind is very sweet indeed. "We showed great character and resilience and didn't panic when we went behind. We kept closing people down from the front and we made ourselves hard to play against. "The lads have trained really well this week and that culminated in an excellent performance with a lot of attempts on goal. This was a fantastic achievement and the boys have to take credit for working so hard."
