Dickov delighted to see errors erased

Boss Paul Dickov was pleased to see his Oldham side cut out their individual errors as the Latics beat Swindon 2-0. A superb early goal from Chris Taylor and a late penalty from Dale Stephens sealed the victory. "We knew beforehand this would be a tough battle because we have watched Swindon and they are one of the best sides in the division," said Dickov. "I'm absolutely delighted we performed as we did and kept a clean sheet, especially after we lost our last two games. "The lads showed how much they want to work for each other and how much desire they have to succeed. Swindon have got the division's best striker in Charlie Austin but our two centre-backs, Neal Trotman and Reuben Hazell, were excellent. "As a team everyone did their job and, without being outstanding, we showed the work-rate to get ourselves a very pleasing result. "Too many times this season I have been talking about individual mistakes costing us but we cut out the errors and dug in really well."
