Crocked Alessandra back at Oldham
The 20-year-old has seriously injured his ankle ligaments and could face up to four months on the sidelines.
Alessandra, who will undergo surgery this week, said: "I found out last week about the extent of the injury and I've taken the weekend just to take it in.
"It hit me hard, but I'd rather have it done if it's needed to get me right long term.
"If it's stable then I could be back in six weeks, but I don't really think it is, to be honest. I'd rather have it done sooner rather than later - get it done and get it right."
