Clubs charged after scuffle

Oldham and Carlisle have been charged by the Football Association for the altercation which marred Tuesday`s League One clash at Boundary Park. The clubs have been charged in accordance with rule E20 - the failure to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion. Latics assistant manager Gerry Taggart has also been hit with an improper conduct charge after he was sent off for becoming involved in the scuffle between the players close to the home dugout. Both Oldham and Carlisle will review the situation before responding to the charges.
