Oldham striker Djeny Bembo has visited a specialist for a precautionary progress update following surgery to his injured right leg. The teenager sustained a broken fibula, which had to be plated and screwed, while he also ruptured ankle ligaments and slightly dislocated the joint. It is three-and-a-half weeks since Bembo underwent surgery, and Latics physio Marc Czuczman said: "The specialist is a little concerned about the position of the ankle joint seeing there was a slight dislocation. "That is why Djeny is back in hospital so the specialist can have a look to see if everything is alright inside the joint. "It is better to have a look just in case anything is wrong so it can be put right now."
