Jose Baxter picked up three awards at Athletic’s recent awards dinner. The leading goalscorer was named the players’ player of the season and the Boundary Blues' player of the year. His brilliant goal against Leyton Orient was also chosen as Athletic’s best goal of the season.Jean-Yves Mvoto was named player of the season by both the Oldham Athletic Community Trust and Trust Oldham. Lee Croft was designated as the supporters’ player of the season after a close-run fight with Mvoto and Baxter. James Tarkowski was named the players’ young player of the season.
