Nuneaton Borough have completed the signing of Raith Rovers defender Paul Browne until the end of the current Nationwide Conference campaign.
Stopper Browne, 27, started out with Aston Villa, before moving back to his native country to link up with Rovers in the summer of 1996.
He has since made over 150 appearances for the club and has also had a loan spell with Arbroath.
Browne's arrival will plug the gap left by injuries to Jamie Squires and Andy Thackeray.
Boro boss Steve Burr is hoping for action in attack as well, as he told the Coventry Evening Telegraph: "With Carl Alford coming in I shall be looking for more punch and bite in front of the net in support of Mark Quayle.
"Certainly that partnership is full of goals but they must have the ammunition to fire the bullets."
Meanwhile, winger Danny Maye has left Manor Park to join Corby Town.
