Youth team given Liverpool tie

Notts to face Premiership giants after Shrewsbury win. Notts County's youth team continued their incredible winning run with a 2-0 victory over Shrewsbury Town in the FA Youth Cup Second Round at Meadow Lane on Monday evening. Having beaten Histon 3-0 in the opening round Michael Johnson's side knew that a win would set them up with an opportunity for a massive tie and they grasped the chance with both hands. Winger Nathan Fox terrorised the Shrews defence from the outset and laid on both goals to set up a third round match with Liverpool.
