Westcarr leaves for Chesterfield

Winger joins the Spireites for an undisclosed fee, leaving Notts desperately short of attacking options. Notts County winger Craig Westcarr has joined League One Rivals Chesterfield for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £70,000. The former Forest and Kettering man was the club's joint top scorer and leading assist maker last season, but manager Martin Allen appears to have deemed him not in his plans.
