Quiet Deadline Day at Meadow Lane
No transfers to report at Notts, but plenty of movement across League One.
It's been a quiet transfer deadline day for Keith Curle, with no transfers in or out of Meadow Lane having been completed, despite Curle's insistence that he had been chasing a striker for much of the last two weeks. It is believed, however, that this was Sheffield United's Richard Cresswell who signed a new player/coach deal with the Blades. There has been plenty of movement across League One though, with Swindon and Paolo Di Canio being particularly busy with Giles Coke, Adam Rooney, Federico Bessone and John Bostock all joining the Robins and former captain Paul Caddis heading to Birmingham. Stevenage have also re-signed Patrick Agyemang on loan and Crewe have seen midfielder Ashley Westwood join Aston Villa for a six-figure fee.
