Notts County boss Gudjon Thordarson says he hopes the rest of his out-of-contract players will follow in the footsteps of David Pipe by signing new deals at the club.
A number of key players are due to fall out of contract in the summer and could move on, but Thordarson hopes Pipe committing his future by penning a new two-year deal, will convince the rest to sign up as well.
Thordarson told the club's official website: "It was vital we got that first player signed up, and we are pleased it was Pipey.
"Hopefully that will push others on in the next few days and weeks to do the same. I think it will have an effect on the players' decision."
