Notts County's veteran goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington is confident that he will be offered a new contract by the League Two club.
The 33-year-old joined the Magpies in the summer of 2005 from Mansfield Town, but his current deal runs out next summer and he is sat on the sidelines at the moment due to an ankle injury.
However, he told the Evening Post: "I am not panicking about it. I would like to think I have done enough to earn a new contract.
"I feel like I have put in a lot of good performances this season and the manager will look favourably on that.
"It's not like I am injury-prone and my fitness has never been a problem. I work very hard to keep fit. I love playing for the club."
