Notts County manager Hans Backe is keen to make Brendan Moloney's loan switch to Meadow Lane permanent.

The 20-year-old Nottingham Forest right-back has impressed in his 13 starts for Notts so far this season but his current loan deal at Meadow Lane runs out on January 2.

Backe said: "He has a future, he's a really attacking full-back and also very precise in his passing.

"He'd been away for a few weeks with injury but he attacked for almost 90 minutes at Bury. He should have dropped dead after 60 minutes, attacking like that!

"Because of his enthusiasm and the kind of character he is, he definitely has a future."
