Wycombe Wanderers teenager Matt Richards has joined League Two rivals Notts County on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old central midfielder came through Derby County's Academy and spent a short time on trial at Meadow Lane before joining the Chairboys.

Magpies boss Ian McParland said: "Matt's a player we're keen to have a look at. I've seen him a few times this season and have been impressed."

Richards has failed to make a first-team appearance for Peter Taylor's side this season.
