Notts County manager Ian McParland has moved quickly to solve his goalkeeping crisis by adding experienced shot-stopper Russell Hoult to his squad.
The 35-year-old moves to Meadow Lane on loan from Stoke City until the end of the season.
McParland was forced to move into the loan market after first-choice goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington sustained an injury in training on Friday, while second-choice custodian Tim Sandercombe is also currently sidelined.
Former Manchester United keeper Pilkington suffered a fractured fibula and is expected to be out of action for six weeks.
