Notts County have confirmed they have officially completed the signing of Wales Under-21 international David Pipe from Coventry City.

The player has put pen-to-paper on a contract that will keep him at Meadow Lane until June 2006 after he impressed during his initial loan spell at the club.

The Sky Blues agreed to terminate his contract at Highfield Road on Thursday and that allowed the Magpies to push the deal through.

"I am pleased to be here permanently now, I am wanted here at Notts County where the manager and fans like me, which is fantastic," Pipe told the club's website.

"I'm glad to be here permanently, now hopefully we can get out of the bottom four, which is a tough task."

Pipe has already made 15 appearances for the club and will be available for the remaining four fixtures of the season.
