Peterborough United striker Danny Crow has joined Notts County for a second time, on a two-month loan deal, subject to clearance from the Football League.
Crow's previous stay earlier in October lasted not much longer than an hour when he broke a bone in his right foot on his debut in a 3-1 defeat against Bury.
After fully recovering from injury and having failed to break back into the Posh's promotion chasing side, the 22-year-old has decided to return to Meadow Lane in search of first-team football.
Magpies assistant manager Dave Kevan told the club's official website: "The gaffer and I were not at Meadow Lane when Danny had his first spell here, but he obviously made a good impression during that short spell and is now back to full fitness.
"He's a good finisher and he sees this as an opportunity to kick-start his career again after he fell out of favour at Peterborough and then picked up the injury."
