MacKenzie backs Magpies

Notts County midfielder Neil MacKenzie believes that his side are back on the right track after a 2-1 victory over Wrexham last weekend.

MacKenzie netted a last-gasp winner against the Red Dragons and hopes that the Magpies can use that victory as a springboard to climb the League two table.

He told the club's official website: "Everyone is buzzing around the place.

"Confidence is rising in the camp and I think that win could do us the world of good now.

"We've got a couple of tough away games coming up, so if we can get some points from those, it puts us in a really good position to kick on after the FA Cup game in a few weeks.

"We've achieved nothing yet, but that one win has given everyone a massive boost and we feel we are moving in the right direction."
