Jarvis signs up at County

Notts County beat Thursday's transfer deadline to sign Ryan Jarvis on loan from Norwich City.

The 21-year-old striker is a product of the Championship club's youth system who has spent time on loan at Colchester United, Leyton Orient and Kilmarnock in recent seasons.

Jarvis has made over 30 first-team appearances for the Canaries and will remain with County until the end of the season.

"Ryan is a good football player who is lively in the penalty area and we are pleased to have secured his services," assistant manager Dave Kevan told the club's official website.
