Notts County manager Paul Ince praised his team's excellent display after a 3-0 victory at struggling Walsall.Goals from Craig Westcarr, Lee Miller and Krystian Pearce extended the Magpies` unbeaten run to five matches in all competitions, including four wins."First and foremost it was a great performance," said Ince. "It could have been six or seven and that's not being disrespectful to Walsall. We had so many chances but it was great to get the three points and keep a clean sheet."We have to be more clinical and put teams to bed. It may seem 3-0 is putting teams to bed, but Walsall had a couple of chances in the second half when we had a couple of scary moments and if they had scored then it could have made a difference."Ince added: "I have always tried to play football whatever team I go to, even when I was at Macclesfield. Our second goal - you won't see a better one this season. If it was Manchester United they would be showing it every day."I have always said from day one the lads have got great spirit and we wanted to bring some stability. My first aim was to keep them in the league, and it takes time but they have responded to the way Alex Rae and myself want to change things.
