Veteran former West Brom goalkeeper Russell Hoult has inked a two-year contract with Notts County.
The 35-year-old helped Notts avoid relegation from League Two last term, playing 14 games in the final two months of the campaign during a loan spell at Meadow Lane from Stoke City.
Notts boss Ian McParland told the club's official website: "It's no secret that we've had a burning desire to bring Russell back to the club after such a successful loan spell with us.
"He's a terrific goalkeeper as well as being a great character and, with Kevin Pilkington agreeing a new deal, it means we'll have some real competition for places between the posts."
