Notts County defender Mike Edwards has warned his team-mates that they face a major fight to retain their Football League status.
The Magpies are just five points above the drop zone in League Two following a 1-0 home defeat by Lincoln City in midweek and Edwards is warning of tough times ahead.
He told the club's official website: "There are going to be some fun and games between now and the end of the season.
"We can't just turn up and expect three points from any of the games, we're going to have to work hard first and then hopefully our quality can come to the fore.
"We know we can do it and then hopefully we can all look forward towards next season.
"Now isn't the time to be playing it pretty, it is going to be a battle and that's what we have to expect. We have to fight, scrap and battle for every single point."
