Double swoop for County

Notts County have completed a double loan swoop on Charlton Athletic to sign Premiership youngsters James Walker and Myles Weston.

The two 19-year-olds have agreed one-month loan switches to Meadow Lane.

Walker is a highly-rated striker who has spent time on loan with Bristol Rovers and Leyton Orient already this season.

He netted three times in 16 appearances for the O's before returning to Charlton last month.

"I'm out on loan at my fourth team already in my career so I am getting used to the traveling," Walker told the club's official website.

"I'm used to the league and obviously it is a bit rough, but if you want to play in the Premiership you have to get used to it."

Meanwhile, midfielder Weston is an England Under-19 international.

Both players will go straight into the squad for Saturday's trip to Bristol Rovers.
