Defender banned for Gulls clash

The experienced centre-half will serve a one-match ban after being shown his marching orders in County's penalty shoot-out defeat at Bradford in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday. Right-back Brendan Moloney, on-loan from neighbours Nottingham Forest, is absent for the second match in succession as he is away on international duty with the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad. Magpies winger Craig Westcarr is expected to retain his place in the side after scoring his second goal of the season at Valley Parade. Midfielders Johnnie Jackson and Ben Davies have hamstring injuries and are unlikely to feature, while new signing Ade Akinbiyi is in contention to be involved after receiving international clearance. Sunday's match kicks off at 5.15pm.
