Midfielder Nathaniel Wedderburn has extended his loan stay at Notts County for a third and final month.
The 17-year-old has made eight appearances since joining the Magpies on loan from Stoke City in November.
"Nat's done very well for us. He's a young lad who's learning his trade but, make no mistake about it, he can have a very bright future in the game," manager Ian McParland told the club's official website.
"He's been unlucky not to start more often but, when he returned from injury, John Thompson and Adam Nowland were performing well in midfield.
"Nat has been patient and when he's come off the bench his performances have been good.
"He's now got another month to gain some more experience and I'm sure he will play his part."
