Clapham extends Notts stay

Former Ipswich Town defender Jamie Clapham has agreed a new contract with Notts County that will keep him at Meadow Lane until the end of next season. The 33-year-old joined Notts in September and has impressed in his 19 League Two starts for the club. He told the club's official website: "I'm really enjoying my football here. It's been great here since day one and I'm delighted to extend my contract. "They're a terrific bunch of lads and I've really enjoyed the training and coaching the staff have put on. "The style of football we try to play is very appealing and it certainly suits me to be part of a team that is trying to play football."
