Baudet blow for County

Notts County have been hit by the news that defender Julien Baudet is set to be out of action for several weeks with the calf strain he picked up in the 1-0 win over Swansea on Saturday.

The Frenchman was forced out of the action after only 15 minutes of the game and was replaced by Northern Ireland defender Emmet Friars, who put in an excellent performance in his absence.

Magpies physio John Haselden assessed the injury on Monday morning and revealed that Baudet will not be available for selection for a while after straining the calf muscle.

He told the club's official website: "Julien has picked up a muscle strain and is probably going to be out for a few weeks now.

"You never know with these things though, but at the moment I would predict that he will be out for the next game or two, which is disappointing,"
