Backe makes Notts exit

The saga at Notts County has taken a new twist after Hans Backe stepped down as manager after just seven weeks in charge at Meadow Lane.
The 57-year-old replaced Ian McParland in the Notts hot-seat on a three-year deal at the end of October.
The news comes just three days after chairman Peter Trembling completed a takeover of the club from mysterious Middle East owners Munto Finance.
Munto took over the League Two side in the summer with the promise of massive investment and they quickly brought former England manager Sven Goran Eriksson to the club.
Sol Campbell arrived in a blaze of publicity but, after just one appearance for the League Two side, walked away from the club citing broken promises as his reason.
Backe's shock departure means there are doubts about Eriksson's future at the club as the two men were friends.
