Alex sees Rae of hope

Notts County assistant manager Alex Rae was happy with a point after a 1-1 draw against Plymouth at Home Park.Defender Stephane Zubar headed the home side ahead in the fourth minute, but the Magpies wasted little time fashioning a reply as Lee Hughes converted an equaliser after Alan Judge's drive had rebounded off a post. Both County goalkeeper Robert Burch and opposite number David Button then proved their worth to ensure the sides came away with a share of the spoils.Rae said: "We are delighted to have got the point. We came here with quite an offensive team with the intention of having a go at Plymouth and getting something from the game on the back of three wins in a row."Those three wins and this draw give us something to build on, especially as our away form has not been the best, so it was a performance that we are pleased with - especially after going behind so early."There were plenty of positives to take from the game although obviously we were disappointed with the way we conceded. I think the way we responded was admirable because they had a good crowd here and we could have easily caved in. They were on the front foot so to score three minutes later subdued the crowd, it was important."
