The ex-Owls captain's current contract is due to expire at the end of the season, and he has already turned down an improved deal to extend his stay at Hillsborough.[LNB]League Two big spenders Notts County have shown interest in the 24 year-old, while Coventry and Ipswich are also thought to be interested.[LNB]Brian Laws told the Yorkshire Post: "Everybody knows that Notts County will probably be paying fairly good money that we couldn't match, but is it Richard Wood's cup of tea? I would be surprised if he even considered it.[LNB]"There is a two week opportunity where things have got to move quickly. While Notts County have made a move, we are waiting for others.[LNB]"No one has made a firm offer. At the end of the day, we have got to the stage where we might have to auction him."[LNB][LNB]
