Taylor admitted he was keen on the Meadow Lane job in the wake of Ian McParland's departure in October, with the Magpies opting to appoint Backe.[LNB]But with Backe quitting the League Two club earlier this week, the opportunity to work under director of football Sven-Goran Eriksson has arisen again.[LNB]Taylor, who left Wycombe in October, took caretaker charge of the full England team for one game before Eriksson's appointment in 2000 and is hoping to hear from the Swede.[LNB]He told the Nottingham Evening Post: "I have not had any contact with Notts County but it is a job I would be interested in, the same as last time.[LNB]"Sven knows Hans very well and he chose him for the job last time but it might be a different situation now, you never know.[LNB]"I know the level Notts are at very well and I know a lot of players.[LNB]"It is all right me saying I would be interested though, it's up to the club.[LNB]"But it would be disrespectful for me to say I wasn't interested in the job because Notts County is a very good football club."[LNB][LNB] Bournemouth v Notts Co..
