Many parts of the country were once again hit by heavy snowfall overnight and the forecast ahead of the weekend predicts more of the same.[LNB]The Moss Rose pitch is under a blanket of snow, while the surrounding areas are also affected.[LNB]"We don't have control over the weather forecast, but the one thing we can control is clearing the pitch," Macclesfield chief executive Patrick Nelson told Town's official website.[LNB]"So we are asking those available to lend a hand on Saturday to be available from 7am in the morning to help with the task of clearing all the snow away.[LNB]"We will be laying on bacon sandwiches and cups of coffee for those able to come down, and of course our grateful thanks. All we ask is that they bring themselves and a shovel."[LNB][LNB]
