Short: We`re not a nasty side

Craig Short insists his Notts County team are not dirty, despite a red card in each of their last four matches. Alan Judge, on loan from Blackburn, was the latest player to be sent off during the 2-0 home defeat to Sheffield Wednesday. The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international midfielder was dismissed for violent conduct after he kicked Owls' substitute Darren Potter. He will now serve a three-match suspension. Liam Chilvers, Graeme Lee and Ricky Ravenhill all saw red in the previous three games. On top of that, Neal Bishop must serve a one-match ban after he collected his fifth yellow card of the season on Saturday. "We've had a chat about discipline and we can't have players being sent off for violent conduct because we lose Alan for three games now," said Short. "I spoke to him after the game and he admitted he kicked out. He's young and he has got to learn from it. He's gutted, he was close to tears. We're not a nasty side, though."
