Short delight at win

Notts County boss Craig Short was full of praise for his side following the 3-2 win over Peterborough at London Road. A Ben Davies double and a goal from Craig Westcarr was enough to earn all three points despite goals from Posh duo Gabriel Zakauni and Craig Mackail Smith putting the pressure on at the end of the game. Short told County Player: "The performance was excellent. We knew they had won four out of four at home and scored 14 goals. "We got a bit of luck but we played excellently. "We created a lot of chances and looked as though we were going to score every time we went forward, especially in the opening 25 minutes. "We hung on a little after their second goal and there was a lot of time left but we hung on and looked good on the break."
