Patience pays off for County boss

Lee Hughes fired a hat-trick to take his goal tally for the season to seven and Matt Ritchie fired a brace, while Alex Dyer briefly gave the Cobblers the lead and Andy Holt bagged a late consolation. McParland said: "The boys were fantastic and passed the ball about very well. Teams are going to come to Meadow Lane and get men behind the ball. "It will be difficult at times to break them down and we may need to be patient, but that patience paid off. "I want players who are capable of scoring from all over the park. That's why I bought Matt Ritchie here, and Lee Hughes was also terrific. I asked him to get back on the goal trail and he didn't let me down."
