Notts set to tie up Jervis signing
Birmingham striker heading for Meadow Lane. Notts County look set to tie up a deal for Birmingham City striker Jake Jervis ahead of the season's opening clash against Huddersfield Town at Meadow Lane. The 6'4 striker spent time on loan at Hereford United last season, scoring twice in seven appearances, and will provide a physical presence to Notts' frontline and is likely to provide important cover for Ben Burgess and Lee Hughes. Craig Short is still hoping to add a winger to his squad, although that now looks unlikely to go through before the Huddersfield match.
