Curtis Thompson could miss out for Notts County

Mark Cooper's search for his first win as Notts County manager continues at home to Stevenage but he could be without Curtis Thompson.

The midfielder is a slight concern after he was forced off with an injury at half-time during the creditable 2-2 draw at Sky Bet League Two leaders Northampton last weekend.

That and the continued absences of Blair Adams (ankle) and Will Hayhurst (knee) aside, Cooper has no other problems to contend with.

He does have a decision to make up front though after Izale McLeod's lively performance as a substitute at Sixfields, with Adam Campbell's place in the team possibly at risk.

Striker Greg Luer is a doubt for Stevenage.

Luer went off with a knock in Tuesday's goalless draw with Yeovil which leaves Boro 10 points clear of the drop zone with six games to go.

Byron Harrison recovered from illness to replace Luer and could start again, while midfielder Chris Whelpdale made his first appearance since Boxing Day following a groin problem and could also start.

Midfielder Keith Keane missed the Glovers game with a knock and could again be a doubt, while Steven Schumacher and Dave McAllister (both knee) are long-term absentees.
