JCR back for County

Jamal Campbell-Ryce is expected to come back into the reckoning for Notts County when Sky Bet League One's bottom club hosts Crewe.

Campbell-Ryce has been absent recently due to a knock but he has now resumed training. However, the winger may only be on the bench at best after Magpies manager Chris Kiwomya hinted that he is likely to select an unchanged side despite defeat at Carlisle last Saturday.

"We're getting a bit of fluency to our team-play now," said Kiwomya."We've picked the same team twice, and three times would be good for us so we all get to know each other better."

Striker Enoch Showunmi (back) and defender Haydn Hollis (knee) looks set to remain on the sidelines.

Centre-back Adam Dugdale could be welcomed back into Crewe's starting line-up after being recalled from his loan spell in time to face Notts County.

The Alex lost defender Harry Davis to a knee injury in the 3-0 loss to Gillingham last Saturday, although the problem is not as bad as first feared, which meant Dugdale was brought back to Gresty Road from Tranmere.

Midfielder Kelvin Mellor was left out of the squad altogether last weekend but manager Steve Davis has been impressed with his response to being dropped in training.

Striker Mathias Pogba (knee) is still a month away from a return and this clash is also likely to come too soon for goalkeeper Alan Martin (hip) and full-back Gregor Robertson (knee).
