Exeter cruise to victory at Notts County
Notts County's search for a first home win since December continues after Exeter ran out 4-1 winners at Meadow Lane.
The Magpies had started brightly, but found themselves behind early on when Lee Holmes managed to tease a cross to the back-post for Jayden Stockley to power in the opener.
Notts wondered whether the equaliser would ever come and it did in the 36th minute when Jon Stead produced an inch-perfect cross for Izale McLeod. His initial header was saved by Bobby Olejnik but he latched onto the rebound to bury a shot into the corner.
The crossbar then denied Stead when Olejnik tipped a drive onto the woodwork before Exeter took control of the game.
Jake Taylor came off the bench to make it 2-1 with a low finish after 68 minutes as he calmly slotted beyond the advancing Scott Loach.
And Christian Ribeiro effectively wrapped up the win when he headed in after Notts failed to deal with a corner three minutes later, before Ollie Watkins capitalised on more poor defending late on.
