Money brings success - Peschisolido

The Canadian, whose side face the Magpies in a League Two clash at Meadow Lane on Saturday, was part of the Mohamed Al-Fayed revolution at Fulham when the Egyptian's money took the Cottagers from the bottom tier of the Football League to the Premier League in the space of five years. "I think in the lower leagues money does bring success," Peschisolido told Burton's official website. "When I was at Fulham it happened. Mohamed Al-Fayed came in and bought players such as Chris Coleman and Barry Hayles, as well as myself. "I don't know how many millions he spent but we ended up getting promotions. It does help when you're bringing in players from Championship level or even Premier League level."
