McParland wants more from County

Chester gave their survival chances a boost courtesy of goals from David Mannix and Ryan Lowe before Mike Edwards grabbed County a lifeline in the 88th minute. McParland said: "Two scrappy goals cost us and it was not good enough. I'm totally disappointed in my players. Chester are fighting for their lives and I told them it would be difficult. "We had all the play but I thought they deserved it in the end. Their manager should be proud of his players, but I'm certainly not proud of my boys. "Every game tells you something about your players and I learned an awful lot from this one. "We had enough chances to have won five games but apart from Phil Picken every one of our players produced a below-par performance and I'm looking for a much higher standard than that."
