McParland takes heart from results
The Magpies are unbeaten in three matches after following up their home win over Exeter with draws at Brentford and Aldershot in the last four days.[LNB]Speaking after Tuesday's 2-2 draw against the Shots, McParland said: "The last few results should have done a lot for our confidence and have set the Port Vale game up nicely on Saturday.[LNB]"It would have been nice to get four or six points from the two games against Brentford and Aldershot but the performances have been excellent and we are moving forwards.[LNB]"We have had two long journeys this week and I am delighted with how the lads have performed."[LNB][LNB]
