The Magpies took an early lead through Luke Rodgers, but failed to extend their advantage and were punished by Elvis Hammond's equaliser 15 minutes from time.[LNB]McParland, whose side were chasing their third successive victory, insisted his team should have been awarded a penalty for Michael Townsend's challenge on Rodgers immediately after his goal.[LNB]"We got the goal and then had a stonewall penalty," he said. "It was the only thing the referee got wrong.[LNB]"Apart from that he was fantastic, but that was a major decision because we would have gone two up.[LNB]"The only way I could see Cheltenham scoring was through a long throw or set play and it was disappointing how we gave the ball away for their goal."[LNB][LNB]
