McParland rages at County slump
Rob Atkinson and Danny Boshell secured all three points for the Mariners and inflicted County's fourth defeat in the last five games at Meadow Lane.
McParland said: "It was the same old story. It's been like it all season. We dominated the game but we didn't win it.
"We had enough chances to win the game but we couldn't take them and if we can't deal with set plays we will continue to lose games.
"It was a good first-half performance but when we give a goal away it's always difficult. It affects the confidence of the players but they have to stand up and act like men."
