McParland pleased to end on high

County looked as if they would end their disappointing campaign with a draw when John Thompson's opener was cancelled out by David McCracken, but Thompson popped up late in the game to seal an unlikely win at Adams Park. "Late on in the game we created a lot of chances and it was great we were able to take one at the end and get the win," said McParland. "We have created a lot of chances all season, particularly in the last five games, but unfortunately we haven't taken as many as we should have. "When you work so hard to create chances you deserve the little bit of luck which we got here. "I changed it round a bit in the second half and it seemed to work for us as we played well and were the better side."
