McParland expecting Silkmen battle
McParland watched the Silkmen host Championship newcomers Leicester in the Carling Cup on Wednesday night.
Keith Alexander's men eventually slipped to a 2-0 defeat but McParland was impressed with their battling display.
He said: "Macclesfield is tough. You never get an easy game there. It will be one of our toughest games of the season."
