McParland: County were second best

Goals from Andy Bishop and Efe Sodje guided Bury to a comfortable victory and it will not get any easier for McParland's men who face a tough home clash with Bradford next weekend.[LNB]He said: "We weren't at our best. To be honest, 70% of my players didn't turn up and I'm not happy with some of my boys.[LNB]"We weathered the storm a bit early on from set-plays but apart from that they had nothing but that's what promotion teams do.[LNB]"We defended quite well and were steadily getting into the game but the ball was like a hot potato with some of our players. We didn't win enough headers or second balls to get us playing.[LNB]"We should have had a free-kick in the bottom corner leading up to their first goal but in saying that we didn't defend it properly, Bishop should never have got away. Yet we've come to one of the top teams in the league and in the second half they barely had a chance."[LNB][LNB]
