Magpies boss laments finishing

The Magpies finished 19th in the league this season after nine defeats in their last 13 games. And McParland believes they should have finished far higher. "It's a small dividing line, it's inches," he told the Nottingham Evening Post. "But the league table doesn't lie. "We know if we had put a lot of our chances away when we were on top, when we have had the momentum in games, the league table would have been a lot different. "We ended up down in the bottom half of the league because we didn't do that. "It was a season of missed chances and that's frustrating."
