Magpies boss eyes loan deals

McParland is still looking for up to three more players, despite the recent influx of new arrivals at Meadow Lane. He told the Nottingham Evening Post: "I'm never happy with my squad. There are a few players I mentioned (to the board) but we didn't get them. Hopefully, we can get them in the future." Although he is looking to add to his squad, McParland has allowed strikers Ben Fairclough and Sean Canham to go out on loan. Fairclough joins Unibond Premier outfit Ilkeston Town for a month, while Canham has agreed a three-month deal with Hayes & Yeading. The County boss insists the pair still have a future at Meadow Lane, adding: "I have not just thrown them out on loan. I think they are good players and I will be keeping a tab on how they do."
