Following negotiations between the two clubs, terms have now been agreed on a new deal that will start on June 1.[LNB]Last summer the rugby club was plunged into crisis after being told they were no longer be able to use Meadow Lane following the takeover of then owners Munto Finance, and had to go to the High Court in July to enforce their contract to continue using the ground.[LNB]But as part of the fresh deal, Nottingham Rugby have agreed to drop their legal claims against the Magpies after reportedly being owed £37,000 in legal costs resulting from the High Court appearance.[LNB]Nottingham Rugby chairman, Alastair Bow, told the club's official website: "At long last we can begin to build a future. The past eight months have been totally wasted. Everything has been on hold because we really don't know if we had a way forward, and there's no doubt that is has caused us to lose supporters and sponsors - and created massive financial problems.[LNB]"I'm relieved to say that's now all in the past and having met with a totally different attitude from Ray Trew and Jim Rodwell, we are very excited about where this new relationship might lead. County supporters can rest assured that their club is in good hands, and we will support them wherever possible."[LNB][LNB]
